Meet Raquel Loree

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at SHYFT?

I enjoy being a part of a team with people that are passionate about what they do, are always trying to achieve a better way of doing things, and who create a positive team environment. It speaks volumes when you enjoy hanging out with the team outside of work.


Q: What are some projects you are currently working on?

My job is to provide support to the construction management team for all projects, including completing subcontracts and change orders, coordinating payments to subcontractors, making sure all requirements are met throughout the project, and providing excellent customer service to our clients as well as our internal team.


Q: What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?

I was promoted to the Construction Project Coordinator position after a few months working at SHYFT and have continued to build on my knowledge and experience to better assist subcontractors, as well as the SHYFT team.


Q: What are a few of your career highlights?

I have worked in several different industries including insurance companies, medical clinics, and a few construction companies, the largest being EFCO Corp. with locations in 13 countries, where I was the Executive Assistant to the CEO for eight years until his retirement. The construction industry excites me the most as I get to see the different stages of construction progress from beginning to end, and know I was a part of making that happen.


Q: Tell us something unique about you.

I enjoy traveling abroad and experiencing different cultures, food, wine, and entertainment. Last year my husband and I traveled with friends to Portugal, Spain, Italy, and France. This year we plan to visit more of Spain, Africa, cities along the Mediterranean, and England.
