Q: What is your favorite thing about working at SHYFT?
I enjoy my coworkers and our office culture – especially when it involves food :) I also love seeing projects come to life upon completion. Looking around a lively space that your team helped create is pretty rewarding. I also enjoy being part of the evolution of Columbus and Des Moines – two growing Midwest cities.
Q: What are some projects you are currently working on?
I am currently planning for SHYFT’s 20th anniversary celebration this year! I’ve also been working on submitting proposals for new projects as part of our business development efforts.
Q: What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?
I've worked on a few project proposals that the SHYFT team went on to win, so it’s exciting to be part of the process from the very beginning, and then seeing the progress throughout the design and construction phases.
Q: What are a few of your career highlights?
I’ve spent most of my career curating stories or experiences, in many different forms. I’m proud of the marketing and storytelling work I did early on in my career in support of small-scale farmers around the world, and then the marketing and event planning I did in support of small businesses in Providence, RI. Now I’m proud to be part of the talented SHYFT team as we create a better way to a better space for our clients in various industries and markets in the Midwest.
Q: Tell us something unique about you.
I’m originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I spent 14 years on the East Coast, but I’m a Midwesterner at heart. (However, I do miss the abundant seafood.)
