From Concept to Completion: Celebrate Dental Comes to Des Moines

Celebrate Dental, a growing dental practice with 15–20 locations across the United States, expanded its footprint into Iowa with the opening of its first location in Des Moines. Located in Des Moines’ Highland Park neighborhood, the new office brings Celebrate Dental’s services to a vibrant and growing area of the community while establishing the practice’s presence in the Iowa market.

For this project, Celebrate Dental partnered with SHYFT to provide pre-construction strategic planning, project management, and construction services. SSOE provided architecture and design, working with the project team to develop a modern, functional space that supports both the Celebrate Dental team and its patients.

A Strategic Location in Highland Park

Choosing the right location is an important part of establishing a new practice, and Celebrate Dental’s Des Moines office offers a strong presence in the Highland Park neighborhood. The area provides an opportunity for Celebrate Dental to serve an established Des Moines community while becoming part of a neighborhood that continues to see investment and growth. As the practice’s first Iowa location, the Des Moines office represents an important milestone for Celebrate Dental and provides a foundation for its continued growth in the region.

From Planning to Construction

From the early stages of pre-construction, SHYFT worked closely with Celebrate Dental and SSOE to establish a clear path from planning through construction. Strategic planning and early coordination helped identify project needs, establish priorities, and prepare the project for a successful build.

SHYFT’s project management and construction teams then carried that planning into the field, coordinating the various moving parts of the project while maintaining the overall vision established during design. Leading the project in the field was Justin Warnock, SHYFT Superintendent, who oversaw day-to-day construction and helped guide the project through completion. His role was instrumental in coordinating the work on site and ensuring the project continued moving forward from the early stages of construction through final completion.

Bringing the Vision to Life

With SSOE leading the architecture and design and SHYFT providing pre-construction, project management, and construction services, the project team worked collaboratively to transform the vision for Celebrate Dental’s first Iowa location into a completed space. The finished office provides Celebrate Dental with a modern environment designed to support its team and create a welcoming experience for patients. More importantly, it marks the beginning of a new chapter for Celebrate Dental as the practice expands into Iowa.

The completion of Celebrate Dental’s Des Moines location is a reflection of what can happen when the right teams come together from the beginning.
