The Harleysville project, a full interior renovation of the 240,000 square foot campus in Harleysville, PA, delivered on time and on budget. The original construction consisted of several phases during the 1950's, 60's and 70's with the last interior refresh occurring roughly 20 years ago. SHYFT Collective provided Owner's Representative services for the client throughout the design and build process.
The project consisted of full demolition to exterior walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades throughout, a complete redesign and remodel of the office space and a full 'back of house' renovation of the cafeteria and commercial kitchen. The SHYFT team coordinated the change management process for the associate population, which included the incorporation of new workstations and conference rooms. The SHYFT team also focused on the facilitation of the relocation for over 2,200 associates, ensuring a positive experience and minimal disruption. There were minor exterior improvements, including making a courtyard area more inviting and functional for everyday use. Additionally the exterior façade and aesthetic were addressed through a revitalization and creation of a new main entrance for associates and visitors.
