Forest Avenue Rowhomes

SHYFT was engaged by DEV Partners to design and build rowhomes located in Des Moines, Iowa. The Forest Avenue Rowhomes project includes two buildings, with a total of  18 for rent units in the Drake University neighborhood. A mix of traditional and modern exterior materials were strategically used to create a building that responds to the existing neighborhood in a contemporary form. All 18 units include laundry and updated appliances, as well as ample access to natural light. The project aims to provide new housing options for young students and professionals in the area. It is anticipated that SHYFT will break ground on this development in the Summer of 2024 and aims for occupancy in early 2025.
