EveryStep Kavanagh House Renovation

The Kavanagh House is the home of EveryStep's hospice services in Des Moines, providing quality care to those living with serious illnesses. It is Iowa’s oldest and largest not-for-profit community-based hospice provider, with a heavy focus on pain management and symptom control. SHYFT has a long-standing relationship with EveryStep, providing various project management and design solutions for different locations - including this most recent interior and exterior renovation of Kavanagh House. The design team provided a brand new exterior, wooden canopy to the entrance of the building as well as other exterior improvements. The interior of the space includes newly designed patient rooms, washrooms, reception area, and lounge.
