Meet Sadie Webb

Sadie Webb - Project Designer

A friend reached out to Sadie looking for designers in Columbus thinking SHYFT would be a good fit for her. After realizing that a few of her mutual friends were already working in our Ohio office, she decided that it was an opportunity that she was interested in pursuing. We took a couple of minutes to chat with Sadie about her time here at SHYFT Collective.

Q: How is SHYFT different from other real estate/design firms that you have seen and worked for?

A: I was drawn to the fact that we are essentially an all-in-one type of company. As a designer it’s really helpful to have construction managers in the office to discuss details while we are still in the design phase of a project.

Q: What are some projects you are currently working on?

A: Right now, I am working on a lab renovation at The Ohio State University as well as two new-build single family residential homes in a neighbor just outside of Downtown Columbus.

Q: What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?

A: OSU Lincoln – It was a project that some of the users weren’t overly thrilled about where they were moving to and now other groups are asking to renovate additional floors to match what we completed. The building footprint was a challenge, especially to fit the program as well as creating an open & inviting space that originally was very closed off. Now the space is open, encourages collaboration through the variety of meeting areas, and gives everyone a view by opening-up the walls & including glass where possible.

Q: What are a few of your career highlights?

A: Working on and helping to lead our Buckeye Painting & OSU Lincoln Office Renovation projects.

Q: Any fun facts you'd like to share?

A: I have a bulldog named Hank, he likes to play soccer.

Thanks Sadie for all you do for the SHYFT Team!
