Q: What is your favorite thing about working at SHYFT?
A: The people! Getting to be a part of the SHYFT team is like joining a family. We have an extremely positive and fun work environment. I am proud to be a part of a company that is made up of wonderful, hardworking, and fun individuals.
Q: What projects are you currently working on?
A: Working in administration and accounting means getting the opportunity to see every single project at SHYFT. We have a little bit of everything! Project management, design, new construction, and property management. I love getting to be a small part of every bit of action that comes our way!
Q: What are a few of your career highlights?
A: I took a huge leap and went back to school to pursue a career path in accounting after a degree and several years in Health Care Administration. Just a reminder that it is never too late to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new!
Q: Any fun facts you'd like to share?
A: I am a huge dog lover, which I suppose is not that unique! I have volunteered with local animal rescues here in Central Ohio for the past 6 years. Most rescues lack physical facilities and rely on volunteers to care for the animals until they can be adopted. It is great because it gives us the opportunity to really get to know the dogs and help place them into homes that are an ideal fit. So far, I have been able to care for and place over 30 dogs into homes.
