Q: What is your favorite thing about working at SHYFT?
A: I think that all stories are powerful, and all projects have one. I get to help write those stories at SHYFT, and it can be very rewarding.
Q: What projects are you currently working on?
A: Right now, I'm currently working on Envisage Wealth Office Addition and Remodel, the Fountain of Knowledge Daycare, and the Dows Farm development.
Q: What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?
A: Taking risks and pushing the boundaries of what a client may be used to seeing or expecting. I feel like I’ve been able to challenge the status quo and have people start thinking outside the box and seeing our designs from a new perspective.
Q: Tell us something unique about you.
A: A year after I graduated from architecture school, I almost left the profession altogether to go to culinary school. I went as far as applying and being accepted – I just needed to sign on the dotted line. I ended up not following that path because I hate mushrooms, and mushrooms seem to be in every dish…
