Meet Casie Tindell
Casie Tindell - Marketing & Office Coordinator
After leaving her previous job as a marketing and administrative coordinator with an architecture firm, Casie knew she wanted to stay in the architecture & design community. She saw a job posting for a very unique company (SHYFT) that not only offered architecture and design but an entire suite of services! She was very excited to see this unique approach to project delivery and applied. Now, Casie is an integral part of the SHYFT team.
Q: How is SHYFT different from other real estate/design firms that you have seen and worked for?
A: SHYFT is a very unique company when it comes to its services and delivery models. I’ve not seen any other company offer an entire suite of services under one roof the way SHYFT does. Also, the culture is unlike one I’ve ever experienced! Music is in the office every day, there’s a lot of collaboration and team-building activities. It’s the exact opposite of a corporate environment, and that is what I love about it. It’s fun and I enjoy coming to work every day.
Q: What are some projects you are currently working on?
A: I’ve been spearheading (along with Sammy) a new marketing strategy called They Ask, You Answer. I’ve sort of become a content manager.
At first, I was nervous to jump into this role since I have no prior experience as a content manager, but I truly love creating content and I am learning so much!
Q: What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?
A: I am proud of how much I have grown professionally here. I've been challenged in ways that I have never experienced before, but these challenges have allowed me to excel and acquire new professional skills, like business development, content creation, and management. Also, I was able to recruit Hailey Scott to join our team last year. 😊
Q: What is your dream office space?
A: I love being around people and collaborating as much as possible. In terms of office space, I very much prefer an open office space with various areas for engaging with employees and having impromptu conversations and collaboration. I value social engagement and employee connection, and I love office spaces that cater to these values. I also place a high value on office design and overall aesthetics– beautiful seating areas, wood accents, and glass fronts, with a nice pop of color.
Q: What are a few of your career highlights?
A: Creating SHYFT's first-ever marketing plan and budget! And jump-starting the SHYFT marketing team.
Q: Any fun facts you'd like to share?
A: I just bought a house! I am so excited to finally do what I want with my space and make it my own.
